Today was a bit of a kick. Not our average Saturday. The SORT team that Phil is a part of signed up for a competitive fire truck pull. It was a actually a fundraising event…so why not? They had teams from the all the local police and fire departments and a few others from the prison. They even had one guy try and pull it on his own…didn’t quite make it, but he put on a good show.
Ready…set….go……. wait, let me take the brake off…
PULL!
Yes, they won. They pulled a 18 ton (ish) fire truck 20 feet in 9.5 seconds. And it was said by several different people (myself included) that they were the best looking team there too.
Theses two nut collectors were pretty cute too.
