The kids have had the entire week off school, and it's been a nice break....I have even slept in, which was strangely satisfying....no worries though, I'm up at 5:15 tomorrow to go run with some friends. Last week we all (me, friends, Austin & Phil) signed up for a race in Colorado Springs. There was an ice storm, but of course, all the crazy runners show up anyway (we passed 5 accidents on the way, drove underneath a 10 car pileup on the freeway and saw an accident happen just as we pulled into the park. It was a little chilly, but no wind...pretty nice running weather really; until they canceled the race because some poor lady slipped and broke her ankle. So of course, we ran anyway. The best part of the race that didn't happen was that we discovered a really cool park...I'm not just talkin' about the weather here....this is the kind of park I would imagine Dad designing. We found one of these parks in SC when Becky came to visit and Phil got mad at me for playing too much with Becky and not watching the kids. I took the kids back there today, it's all about the physics of centrifugal force....amazingly, no one threw up.

That's right Becky, can you hear it calling....just one more reason to come for a visit!
Eve feeling a little smug, having mastered the ring thing (official name of course).

Austin taking a break.
Bingham giving the ring thing a try.

A close up of Bingham giving the ring thing a try cause he's so darn cute.

Working together.....don't tell.

Soni in the spinning cup thing.

Bingham on one of the spinning poles. These were great. All you have to do is stand next to your kid, tell them to hang on and with very minimal effort you can spin them around very fast. Any one who has ever been stuck spinning kids on a merry-go-round would really appreciate this!
